Mateo Meraz, BCBA
Mateo Meraz earned his undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and his Master of Science in Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is passionate about helping children with autism build meaningful skills, gain confidence, and reach their fullest potential.
Known for his ability to connect with children on their level, Mateo strives to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and motivated to learn. He believes every child is unique and values the opportunity to celebrate progress at every stage of their journey—whether it is developing communication, social, adaptive, or independence skills.
What Mateo enjoys most about ABA is the ability to make a lasting impact on both children and their families. He is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care while partnering closely with parents to help create meaningful progress that extends beyond the therapy setting.
As both a clinician and a parent, Mateo understands the importance of collaboration, trust, and family support. His goal is to help children thrive while empowering families with the tools and confidence they need to navigate their autism journey.
