Community Outings
At i2ABA, we believe meaningful learning extends beyond the clinic walls. Throughout the year, we organize a variety of group and clinic-based community outings designed to help children practice and generalize the skills they are learning in therapy across real-world environments.
These experiences provide valuable opportunities for children to strengthen communication, social interaction, safety awareness, flexibility, independence, and adaptive living skills in natural community settings.
Families participate in these outings, allowing our clinical team to provide in-the-moment coaching and support while helping caregivers learn strategies that can be easily incorporated into everyday family activities. This collaborative approach helps bridge the gap between therapy and daily life, creating meaningful opportunities for continued growth outside of scheduled treatment hours.
Community outings may include visits to movie theaters, parks, museums, shopping centers, restaurants, trampoline parks, baseball games, and other family-friendly events throughout the year.

School Readiness, Transition & Family Advocacy
One of our primary goals is to help children develop the skills needed to thrive in less restrictive environments. Our clinical team strives to work toward titrating 1:1 therapy for our clients and to prepare them with readiness skills to be successful in a school-based setting.
School readiness programming may include following group instructions, participating in classroom routines, attending to teacher-led activities, increasing independence, developing peer relationships, managing transitions, and strengthening self-regulation skills. Each child’s transition plan is individualized based on their unique strengths, needs, and educational goals.
We also recognize that a successful school transition involves empowering parents and caregivers. Our team provides education and guidance to help families understand the special education process, school-based services, educational documentation, accommodations, and support systems available to their child. Parent training may include preparation for ARD and IEP meetings, understanding educational recommendations, and learning effective advocacy strategies.
Our commitment extends beyond preparing the child to strive to equip families with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to be strong advocates for their child’s continued success. By partnering closely with parents throughout the transition process, we help ensure that children and families are well prepared for the next stage of their educational journey.
Speech, Occupational & Physical Therapy
We understand that coordinating multiple therapy appointments can be challenging for busy families. To help simplify the process and support continuity of care, i2ABA offers dedicated therapy spaces within our clinics where children can receive Speech Therapy (ST), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physical Therapy (PT) services from independent community providers.
Children can transition seamlessly from their ABA sessions to a designated therapy area within our clinic, reducing the need for families to travel between multiple appointments and locations throughout the week. This convenience allows children to receive comprehensive support while maintaining consistency in their daily routine.
An additional benefit of this collaborative model is the opportunity for enhanced communication among professionals involved in your child’s care. Our BCBAs can work closely with outside therapists to discuss treatment goals, share progress updates, and coordinate strategies that support skill development across disciplines. This collaborative approach helps ensure that services are aligned, complementary, and focused on the child’s overall growth and success.

Alumni Program & Continued Family Connection
One of the greatest privileges of our work is celebrating the milestones that lead children toward greater independence. Whether a child graduates from ABA services or transitions to a less restrictive setting to continue learning and growing, we recognize these achievements as significant accomplishments for both the child and their family.
At i2ABA, graduation is not the end of the relationship, it is a celebration of the progress, dedication, and partnership that helped make those successes possible. We take pride in recognizing each family’s journey and the hard work that contributed to reaching this important milestone.
Our Alumni Program allows families to remain connected with the i2ABA community long after therapy services have concluded. Alumni families are invited to participate in select annual community events and celebrations, providing opportunities for children to reconnect with peers, staff, and the supportive community they helped build. One of our most anticipated traditions is our annual end-of-summer baseball game, where many alumni families return year after year.
The relationships formed during therapy often extend far beyond treatment, and we are honored to remain a part of our families’ lives as they continue to achieve new milestones and create new opportunities for their children.
